Respiratory Medicine

St. Joseph's offerings in respiratory or pulmonary medicine come from the hands of licensed, nationally credentialed professionals. The Repiratory Care Department, a major teaching affiliate for two college-based respiratory care programs, provides 24-hour-a-day service for individuals of all ages with acute and chronic breathing problems. The Pulmonary Lab provides state-of-the-art pulmonary function and metabolic testing for individuals with breathing disorders such as asthma, emphysema and chronic bronchitis. A Better Breathers Support Group provides education and counseling to individuals with chronic lung diseases and their families.
