Critical Care
Our 25-bed unit provides care to patients with
a variety of diagnoses ranging from acute myocardial
infarction (heart attack), stroke, gastrointestinal bleeding, closed-head trauma
and a variety of surgical conditions including open heart surgery.
Care is provided by a team of highly qualified healthcare professionals with the highest percentage of nationally certified critical care nurses in the region. Patients and their family will receive individualized care which focuses on the restoration of health and the preservation of patient rights.
By designating an individual as a family spokesperson,
beepers are available to keep the spokesperson informed of the patient’s condition.
Beepers may be checked out by the critical care patient representative located
at the information desk on the third floor. Please call one of the patient representatives
at 501-622-2205.
