Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center
The Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center provides a comprehensive,
coordinated approach in response to allegations
of child abuse. Children who may have been abused or who witness violent
crimes are referred to our Center by the Arkansas State Police, Division of Children
and Family Services or law enforcement for a video taped forensic interview and evidentiary exam. Specially trained child interviewers, investigators,
law enforcement and medical personnel form a team to make decisions about investigation
treatment and prosecution of child abuse cases. This approach proposes that
children receive child--focused services in a child-friendly environment, one
in which a child's needs come first. For more information please call (50) 622-2531.
