Medical and Surgical Services

As the area’s most comprehensive health center, St. Joseph’s staff physicians and various other healthcare professionals are committed to providing patients with a multi-faceted culture of quality that includes the following:

Exceptional service that recognizes patients as valued individuals and
addresses their needs.

Clear and frank communication regarding each patient’s medical condition and options, but delivered in a manner that maintains privacy and confidentiality.

Compassionate attention from qualified healthcare professionals, many of whom are among the best in their respective fields.

Quality care that meets or exceeds nationally recognized clinical standards and benchmarks.

As the largest provider of surgical services in the Hot Springs area, St. Joseph’s offers patients a convenient and comfortable setting with 11 surgical suites and a highly qualified staff. Moreover, for many patients, it is possible to receive surgical treatment for a growing list of conditions without an overnight hospital stay, and for your convenience, a pre-assessment program is available to coordinate all lab work, x-rays and other tests needed before coming in for surgery. St. Joseph’s also participates in the Surgical Care Improvement Project (SCIP) as described in the Quality measures section of this web site. Designed to meet the needs of patients and their families,
St. Joseph’s Surgery Department performs both inpatient and outpatient procedures with a strong commitment to quality and safety. Choose from the links below to learn more about St. Joseph’s safety and quality initiatives as they relate to our medical and surgical services:
