St. Joseph’s Volunteer Services Director receives recertification
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The Southeastern Directors of Volunteer Services in Healthcare Organizations (SDVSHO) recently announced Susan Rima, Volunteer Services Director at St. Joseph’s Mercy Health Center, has been approved by a panel of her peers for recertification.
Director of Volunteer Services certification is open to SDVSHO members who are interested in reaching and maintaining greater educational competence and a higher level of professional standards. Rima, who has been with St. Joseph’s for 10 years, will be awarded her SDVSHO recertification license at the organization’s annual March meeting and conference at Williamsburg, Virginia.
“It is truly a privilege and an honor to know Susan and to have her re-certify with SDVSHO,” said SDVSHO Certification Chairman Robby Scucchi. “She is truly an inspiration to the organization and a fantastic friend who has been wonderful to work with in this capacity.”
