St. Joseph’s hosts Mercy Medical Clinic-Highway 5 open house
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – St. Joseph’s Mercy Health System will host an open house for its new Mercy Medical Clinic-Highway 5 on Friday, Sept. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m.
The August 18 opening of the new clinic, located in Suite L at 25255 Highway 5, completed a two-fold expansion of services by St. Joseph’s in the Hot Springs Village area. In early July, St. Joseph’s initiated the first phase of its expansion with the opening of Mercy Medical Clinic-Highway 7 North, located in Suite C at 3560 Highway 7.
Mercy Medical Clinic-Highway 5, open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, is staffed by family medicine physician Halah Al-Dadah, M.D. and advance practice nurse Gwen E. Hart, MNSc, ANP, FNP/GNP-BC. Both will be on hand for the open house at which refreshments will be served.
Dr. Al-Dadah secured an undergraduate degree from the Kazakh Architectural and Civil Engineering Academy in the Russian city of Alma Ata, Kazakhstan. She then earned her medical degree from Voronez State Medical Academy and just completed her family medicine residency with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS)-Arkansas Health Education Centers (AHEC) Residency Program of South Arkansas.
Hart, who has worked for St. Joseph’s Mission Clinical Services since 2002, secured a bachelor of science degree in nursing from UAMS in 1996. She then earned a master of science degree from the UAMS Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Program in 2000 before graduating from the University of Central Arkansas’ Post-Masters Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 2007.
